TWIS #15

This week in science I did the marshmallow challenge for the third time this year. My group always did the same structure they did all three times. The first time we did it it was standing up. But the second and last time it just fell down. I told my group that we should do something different this time. But they wouldn't listen to me. I also told them that if we're going to do the same structure to put a lot of sticks in the bottom of the structure and put less sticks as it got higher. But they all said that the bottom, middle, top should have the same amount of sticks. That's what I did this week in science.

This week in science I learned that not to always to the same structure while doing a marshmallow challenge because that structure is not always going to stay up. You should always do different structures and see if they work. I also learned that some people won't try out your idea and try to build something different so it could probably come out successful. I didn't really like doing the marshmallow challenge this year. That's what I learned this week in science.

I feel like I am really good at working in groups because I can cooperate with many different types of people but doing the marshmallow challenge three times with the same group got worse. I like working in groups but it depends on the type of people. The people that was in my group would just listen one persons ideas and they wouldn't listen to anybody else ideas. I liked working in groups throughout the year. I just didn't like doing the marshmallow challenge with the people in my group.
